Koha home
The Central Library of Hazi A. K. Khan College stands as the pulsating hub of our institution, conceived in 2008 as an indispensable reservoir of knowledge. Housing approximately 8714 books, 07 academic journals (subscribed) and 07 periodicals, its role as the cornerstone of our academic landscape cannot be overstated. More than a repository, it embodies our commitment to nurturing erudition, ensuring access to a comprehensive spectrum of resources essential for both students and faculty. With a steadfast vision to satiate the intellectual thirst of our community, the library diligently gathers diverse literature and periodicals. By embracing a blend of traditional print and modern electronic media, it offers an array of high-quality services not only to our students, teachers, and staff but also extends its resources to external readers and researchers from diverse institutions.
The library's technological evolution is evident through the adoption of Koha Library Management Software, streamlining services such as acquisition, Web-OPAC, and lending. Through this amalgamation of technology and academia, the library stands poised to meet the evolving needs of our scholarly community.
Our vision for the Central Library is to provide excellent resources and innovative services that encourage creativity, intellectual curiosity, and facilitate lifelong learning and research among our students.
To foster excellence in teaching, learning, and research, and to promote service to our users, we aim to continually develop and provide computerized access to information resources and services. Our goal is to cultivate high-quality students capable of meeting both present and future needs of the community.
